My friends call me the "nuance" doula, and nuance is exactly what you need to navigate motherhood.

As a home-birthing mom of 5, I know the unique power women embody when supported to do so,

As a woman with PCOS and insufficient glandular tissue, I know that sometimes things don't work as nature intends.

As an educated women with a history in anatomy, physiology, pathophysiology and extensive training in the soft tissues of the body I offer a crucial knowledge base that many doulas don't have.

As a doula, I've been witness to the spectrum of birth from catching a baby who was "supposed" to be indued in 2 days in a bathroom at home, to intervention free home, birth center and hospital births to planned inductions and waiting in the recovery room for moms with an unplanned cesarean.

As a woman who struggled with undiagnosed Postpartum Anxiety, I also know what it is to navigate mental health issues while caring for a newborn (and older kids simultaneously). 

As a newborn care specialist, I know how to support moms to get rest,  babies to sleep in developmentally appropriate lengths of time and dads/partners to understand what the evidence actually shows (vs what's marketed to new parents). 

I am here to help you confidently navigate your pregnancy and birth so that you have a positive postpartum, can meet your breastfeeding goals and return to work without feeling like a crazy person.
