Printable Board Games
a gaming twist to classic board games!

I love boardgames and retro 8-bit video games, so I thought a Donkey Kong version of Chutes & Ladders might be fun. I created this game from scratch, pixel by pixel, using the "snap to grid" function in Adobe Illustrator and many reference photos. In some cases, I even improved upon the in-game sprite art, such as with Mario's overalls. This is a fan-art project intended to be an homage to the innocent fun of yesteryear. This game is also great for teaching math (counting & addition) to young children.

YOUR PURCHASE INCLUDES:  a high resolution PDF file of the game. Once you print out that file (I recommend 11"x17" cardstock, but it can be printed much larger if you wish), you'll need a scissors and a 6-sided die. Then, simply cut out the Marios, and fold them into little table tents.

Ladders & Barrels

After the success of my Donkey Kong: Chutes and Ladders mash-up boardgame, I decided to make another 8-bit video game/board game combination. In both Super Mario Bros. 2 and Candy Land there are 4 characters traveling through a colorful dreamland to find a king who hates vegetables, so they seemed a natural fit. I created this game from scratch, pixel by pixel, using the "snap to grid" function in Adobe Illustrator and many reference photos.

EDUCATIONAL: This is a fan-art project intended to be an homage to the innocent fun of yesteryear. This game is also great for teaching colors, counting, and possibly an appreciation of vegetables to young children.

INCLUDES: a high resolution PDF file of the game. I recommend printing 11"x17" (tabloid size) cardstock, but it can be printed larger or smaller, if needed.

Veggie Land

I love combining videogames and boardgames from my childhood. Donkey Kong/Chutes and Ladders & Super Mario Bros. 2/Candy Land were my last 2 efforts (see my other listings). This time, I combined Pac-Man with a race and chase game, like Trouble, Parcheesi, or Sorry! I created this game from scratch, pixel by pixel, using the "snap to grid" function in Adobe Illustrator and many reference photos.

EDUCATIONAL: This is a fan-art project intended to be an homage to the innocent fun of yesteryear. This game is also great for teaching colors, counting, and taking turns.

INCLUDES: a high resolution PDF file of the game. I recommend printing on 11"x17" (US tabloid size) cardstock, but it can be printed larger or smaller, if needed.

Everyone loves monsters, and now you can print and create your own creatures with this fun pack: ogres, trolls, werewolves, minotaurs, sea creatures, abominable snowbeasts, insectoids, chupacabras, harpees, sphinxes, orcs, minions, jabberwockies, vampires, zombies and anything else you can imagine is possible. You can even re-create your favorite movie and children's book monsters.

YOU WILL RECEIVE: A hi-res pdf containing: 12 monster body shapes13 sheets of limbs, 7 sheets filled with dozens of facial features, and 1 sheet of wings. There are literally 100s of monster parts, and well over 100,000 combinations! That means you could make a monster everyday for the rest of your life, and never make the same one twice (even if you started at birth)!

Cut, Color & Glue

WHY THIS SET IS DIFFERENT: I've hand drawn all the parts myself, and scanned them into Adobe Photoshop. Similar products feature monsters that are far too similar to one another; with this set, variety and creativity are top priorities. How you cut, combine, and color the body parts will drastically change the appearance of your creation. Helpful suggestions are included at the bottom of each sheet.

GREAT FUN FOR EVERYONE: This pack is perfect for parties, creative meetings, classrooms, or rainy-day projects. I lead a monthly all-ages arts/crafts group, and this set was a big hit with everyone from 2 year olds to grandparents.
